This is why it’s not selfish to contemplate on what makes you happy and to take action in alignment with that.
I need to add something very important:
As you contemplate… as you make your decisions on what action you take… you’ll know if it’s a selfish act or one that, as a result of your contemplation, is being done with a wide perspective of its possible effects on you and everyone in your life.
This means it’s not always easy to be happy because it’s a challenge going deep inside yourself, getting to know yourself with love and compassion, then making your choices with that same love and compassion toward all that your actions affect.
And your actions will definitely affect others.
Why?
Because you matter. Whether you believe you do or not. That’s why deep contemplation is important, because when you get to know yourself, you start loving yourself.
You start seeing yourself in a real way… not in a confusing, trying to fit in, trying to make everyone satisfied, exhausting way.
Be happy… and if it’s true… others will be happy too… eventually and with great relief.
It starts with you. It always starts with you. Because you matter, and all the people in your life… they need to see you treat yourself in a way that reflects just how important you are… because upon witnessing this, the people in your life remember how important they are too.
Then everyone is happy in the deepest sense of the word, imperfections and all.
It’s a bumpy beautiful road… and such a relief to be on because being real is being you and being you – hands down you can do.
Hugs along the way,
Lea
