Love is hard. Why?
Because we’re human. Our minds confuse us.
Love is an action.
Feeling love is warm, sweet, wonderful. Yet our feelings aren’t always true… because our confusing minds help create our feelings.
We can influence how we feel, but it’s not easy because it requires paying attention whenever we’re around another human being.
Loving is aware, purposeful, practiced… with a long-term vision of what many would say are impossible dreams.
What dreams?
The ones that remember the past, acknowledge the pain, and embrace the moments in between that are filled with care and compassion until those moments multiply.
And they will. And you will find peace.
Visualize this world being a better place, and it will become a better place… because life is moments and we can impact this one moment.
Love… the human near you… in this moment. That’s all you need to do.
The rest will happen…. because it only takes one incredible, surreal, connected moment to make a difference.
What do I mean?
Courage is part of us as humans. We all have it.
Being connected opens our hearts and ignites something deep within us and we cannot resist taking action, even if we’re really scared.
Courage comes from purpose. Purpose comes compassionate connections. Love is at the root of it all.
So, I say again, if you want to know how to contribute to a better world and feel peace because you know you’ve done all you can:
Love… the human near you… in this moment.
Not easy? Focus on the dream. Visualize. (Read this post again.) I’m with you.
